Equipment and resources
All equipment requires a deposit to cover loss or damage.
Maps:
- The Ordinance Survey map for this area of Suffolk is 197 (Ipswich, Felixstowe and Harwich)
- We will provide you with maps of the site on booking.
Fieldwork equipment available:
- Ranging poles x 10
- Clinometers x 5
- Bat detector and identification guides
- Pond dipping equipment: white trays, magnifying boxes and glasses, identification guides, nets
- Quadrats
- 1 50m Tape measure and 10 small measuring tapes.
- Clipboards
- Butterfly nets x 3
- Moth trap (if booked ahead)
- Crabbing lines and buckets
- Compasses x 10
Sports equipment:
Please let us know in advance what sports you would like to do so we can ensure the equipment is available.
- Sports equipment: footballs, basketballs, tennis rackets and balls, Frisbees (Please ask for anything else as we may have it).
- Mountain bikes and helmets.
